Introduction to the differences between ITIL V2 and ITIL V3 at FOUNDATION level. An intensive course consisting mostly of formal lecturing (there is a significant amount of new material to be covered) and mock exam questions. The exam is included.

The main objectives of the ITIL V2-V3 Foundation bridge course is to understand the new ‘life-cycle’ approach of ITIL V3, to learn the new ITIL V3 terminology and to understand where ITIL V2 concepts have significantly changed.
ITIL V3 presents the ITIL core library organized around an IT service lifecycle so organizations can appreciate the need to consider services in their entirety.
The course will provide an insight into current Service Management thinking as well as preparing delegates for the ITIL Foundation Bridge Certificate in IT Service Management examination. The exam is a 30 minute, 20 question, multiple choice examination needing 13 (65%) to pass.
Students will be provided with a mock-exam to help them prepare for their exam.

…and be aware of
- key concepts, processes, key roles and key functions new to ITIL V3, or significantly changed from ITIL V2.
Prerequisites
Attendees must have passed the ITIL V2 Foundation exam, this level of knowledge will be assumed during the course and ITIL V2 material will not be covered in the course.
Your ITIL Foundation certificate number will be required BEFORE you can be enrolled for the exam.
Who Should Attend this course ?
Anyone who already holds the ITIL V2 Foundation certificate and wishes to understand the changes that ITIL V3 has introduced. It is NOT suitable as an introduction to ITIL as the course only covers the differences between ITIL V2 and ITIL V3. Anyone who wishes to follow further ‘lifecycle’ or ‘ capability’ based ITIL V3 training must hold an ITIL V3 certificate. Students intending to take the ‘Service Managers Bridge’ course DO NOT need to attend the ITIL V2 - V3 Foundation bridge.
